The Bavarian State Exhibition 2025 is committed to the goals of sustainability in order to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible.
This will be achieved through the following measures, among others
- Reuse of existing building elements from previous exhibitions
- Use of existing showcases
- Mandatory consideration of modular construction for newly produced elements of exhibition construction to ensure sensible reuse and recycling
- Extensive use of upcycled and recyclable building materials
- Consideration of suitable environmental requirements in tenders
- Predominant use of exhibition technology (e.g. projectors, monitors, audio spoons, etc.) from the HdBG inventory
- Orientation towards the climate corridor proposed by the German Museums Association for the air conditioning of the exhibition space
- Consideration of CO2-saving options when selecting loans and transporting art
The Bavarian State Exhibition 2025 will be shown in the Danube Hall of the House of Bavarian History in Regensburg.
