In 1927, the town of Bamberg put up
20 memorial plaques on the war cemetry, which forms a part of
the "Hauptfriedhof". On these plaques, the names of the fallen
soldiers from Bamberg are engraved, grouped in military units.
In the complex, that has been turned after 1945 into a memorial
for the dead of the two World Wars, the following Jewish
soldiers are listed under the different units:
